Quilters for Christ
This is a group consisting of a mix of seasoned sewers and new learners.
We meet on Tuesday mornings from 9am until 1pm. We find that many hands make light (and beautiful!) work, and that deep and lasting friendships are formed around common projects.
Join us if you have a passion for quilting, or an interest in seeing what this craft is all about.
Choir
We are a singing congregation, and our choir helps to lead and empower the singing of the whole community. We practice on Thursday nights, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.  Brent Mayhew is our Music Director, assisted by Anne Ewaschuk.
New choir members are always welcome.
Instrumental
Our church knows that music can be a vital, and sometimes essential, means of entering into prayer and praise. Brent Mayhew and Anita Duffy regularly accompany our Sunday morning singing on piano and organ. However, we strive to create opportunities for musicians on other instruments to be involved. From flute, guitar, drums, to trumpets and French horns, we have found our worship deepened by the involvement of numerous other musicians.
Overhead
We worship in a way that is both Contemporary and Traditional:  we embrace the best of prayer and music our Lutheran and Anglican ancestors have passed down to us, and yet our worship takes place HERE and NOW, and is always rooted in the present tense.

One of the ways that we have found our worship enlivened is through the use of our overhead projector.  We are able to facilitate the congregation’s involvement in our singing and our prayers by allowing them to easily follow along with the words on the overhead. The overhead also provides a wonderful opportunity for images, colours, pictures and graphics to help open God’s message for us. We are very much seeking to involve more people – with a passion for computers
and/or visual art – in this unfolding ministry.
