Therapist Debbie Walsh is available for private and group counselling once a month. Here is Debbie's profile:
Debbie Walsh, Psychospirtual Therapist (Intern)
I am in the process of completing my second year (of three) at the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education, and am trained in a variety of Psychodynamic models of therapy. I completed my Diploma in Ministry at St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia and am enrolled in Masters of Ministry and Spirituality at Regis College. I have extensive experience in the spirituality and philosophy of 12-Step programs, and design and facilitate retreats for adults on a variety of themes.
Inspired in my role as mom to three adult children and one grandchild, I have grown in my appreciation of the uniqueness each person holds as a divine creation. With an enthusiasm for life and compassionate care, I integrate my education and spirituality with lived experience and am energized and humbled when I am invited share the sacred path of life with others. A 30-year career in healthcare that includes pastoral care to hospice clients and their family members has taught me first-hand that life is a journey and holds lots of opportunity of growth and self awareness. A fresh set of eyes and ears can provide a new perspective to embrace circumstances and use them as opportunity to enjoy the very best life has to offer.
“We are spiritual beings having a human experience” (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)
