A Blessing for Back-to-School

Let us pray for all who are beginning another new school year, that students, teachers and support workers will be blessed.   

Loving Creator of us all, it’s a different returning to school and classes. Stress, anxiety and fear loom over all who are preparing for this academic year. Grant to teachers, confidence and the gift of joy and insight. Give support staff and helpers the gift of grace and give all students the gifts of openness and diligence. Bless them this day as they step into places familiar and yet different. Remind them you are with them always. May we all know and follow your ways, through Christ Jesus, our Lord.
