St. David celebrated Remembrance Day in fine style. The chancle was adorned with poppies. Firefighters in their dress uniforms carried the flag and laid a wreath in front of the altar, scouts carried the cross and bible, and the service closed with the traditional "Last Post" played on the trumpet, and the "Lament"played on the bagpipes. The reflection was given by Paul Neilson who talked about his father's and uncle's service in the Second World War, then played and sang Gord Lightfoot's "Mr. Rock of Ages".
